Hotel New York, filled with nostalgia and history
Hotel New York is a four-star hotel. The hotel opened its doors in 1993 in the former head office of the Holland America Line, situated on the banks of the river Maas. The characteristic building from 1917 breathes the nostalgia of the past and symbolises the departure of the many emigrants who sailed towards their new homeland with hope and excitement. The hotel consists of 72 hotel rooms, 7 halls and 2 restaurants, including free Wifi. The largest room has a capacity of 100 persons in theatre arrangement. The hotel is situated at the tip of Wilhelmina Pier on the Kop van Zuid. There are various car parks and parking garages in the vicinity. It is a 5-minute walk from the Wilhelminaplein metro station.
